Sleek International Ltd was founded in 1989 by Dennis Tharratt and Brendan McParland to fill a gap in the colour cosmetic market. The Sleek Makeup brand was established in order to meet the cosmetic needs of women of colour in Europe who at the time had great difficulty in finding affordably priced cosmetic products that matched their varying skin shades and tones.

To fulfil the makeup needs of women in Ghana who found it difficult to get makeup that suited their skin tones perfectly Sleek Cosmetics Ghana Limited was established in 1999 by a Ghanaian entrepreneur Miss Jemima Deveer.

Sleek Makeup has one of the widest ranges of makeup in the cosmetic industry and offers products from 4 categories namely: Face, Eyes, Lips and Nails.

The Sleek MakeUP brand has evolved! After under-going a re-launch two years ago, Sleek MakeUP has successfully re-positioned itself as the no.1 mass make-up brand that caters comprehensively for ALL races!

Sleek Makeup has the widest foundation choice, (17 shades) out of any other mass brand. The shades range from light matching Caucasian skin tones to dark shades that match Black skin tones whilst covering the full shade spectrum in-between. It is this reason that we are able to ensure that every woman finds her perfect match, especially those so often under represented by mainstream brands (Black, Asian, Mixed Race, and women of Middle Eastern and North African descent.)

Currently Sleek Makeup is the leading brand of cosmetics on the Ghanaian market. The Sleek brand of makeup is specially formulated for women of colour to suit their varying skin shades and tones.
